iOS 11 Is Slated To Bring In The Smartest Siri Yet

Apple has some big releases lined up for this year, and contrary to popular belief, the iPhone 8 is not all that they are focusing on for 2017. However, one has got to admit that the iPhone 8 is undoubtedly the most anticipated device slated for release later this year. But however many reports speculate that the smartphone may be delayed, there is one massive thing that Apple is expected to unveil within the coming few months. This highly anticipated reveal is not a device in itself, but actually, the software that will power the company’s upcoming iPhone edition- the iOS 11.

The iOS 11 is the latest version of the iPhone operating system; and to celebrate the tenth year anniversary of Apple’s smartphone that has stood the test of time and acquired its own exclusive following, we expect some mammoth new features to make their way into the iOS 11. And for good reason too, for last year’s software release iOS 10 was hailed as the best iPhone OS to have ever been rolled out, with most of its features aimed at enhancing the users’ convenience. No wonder, then, that Apple users are expecting big things from the iOS 11.

There are some speculations doing the rounds about what we can expect from the upcoming new OS, but the first and foremost feature that comes to our mind when we think about the iPhone is its voiced AI companion. Siri has been revolutionizing the way we look at smartphones since its advent and has led many smartphone conglomerates to go scampering about to create their own version. However, even so many years after, Siri still rules the class. However, there are still a number of things that the Apple user may want to see being implemented for the betterment of the software. Better accent recognition is one of them, for while Siri has been the perfect companion for us, interacting with Apple’s signature software proves to be a pain for many users who are not from the US.

But it looks like Apple already has big plans for Siri, and while the vocal interaction will undoubtedly improve, we also know that the Cupertino-based company is working on improving the software with new machine learning skills. The aim is to make Siri more adaptable to its user’s specific recurring habits and stay on top of things in accordance. While there are not a lot of info on the matter yet, we can hope to know more when Apple introduces the software a few months later.

Which brings us to the release date of the iOS 11. Apple has traditionally been introducing the iOS update sat the WWDC event every year, and this year is slated to be no different. But whereas we did not have any clear idea about when we could see it, it now appears that we have a date. It is now confirmed that the event will kick off on June 5 this year, and as is customary, Apple may introduce the iOS 11 this year at the keynote on the opening day itself. It is then that we hope to know all that Apple wants to achieve with the iPhone 8.
