[pics] If Google Was Unstoppable?

March 5, 2010  |  Software  |  ,

Have you ever wondered how the use of Internet would have been without Google? Only launched in 1998 Google has already monopolized the world wide web, leading in several markets such as search, email (Gmail), mapping (Google Maps/Earth/Street View) and video (YouTube). Of course, there are companies that are competing head on with Google but what if none of them are able to stop the Google juggernaut? Already, because of Google we have seen the birth of Microsoft bing who as of January 2010 are the third largest search engine on the web by query volume, at 3.16%, after its competitor Google at 85.35% and Yahoo at 6.15%, according to Net Applications.

The pictures below give us a glimpse of what a Googlified world would look like. Even if you have seen some of them, it is still worth taking another look. Just for fun and inspiration.
